Boss’ Daughter Back on Tour
This past Friday I took a trip up to Flagstaff. The occasion is my friends in Boss’ Daughter are going back on the road for the first time since before Covid. I go back with Chris Fox since I first saw him play a Vegas backyard in 2015 with his other band Vampirates. Jamie and Danny since finally seeing Boss’ Daughter back in 2019 on that same Flagstaff Brewing Company stage. All wonderful people that translates into the high energy, animated now three piece you see up there.
The show was opened up by a cool solo set by Flagstaff local Naming Our Monsters. Then we delved into the setlist Chris put forth. He put a giant question mark block on it that just got filled with around double the songs of the rest of the list. Combined the songs were a mix from their known catalog and treated to quite a few exciting new songs. For them, it was apparent this was a time to have fun with friends, to enjoy finally getting back on the road again. It was really cool to see everyone again and help kick off Boss’ Daughter’s tour in such a positive show environment.
